GEORGES NIANG DRAFTED BY INDIANA PACERS

 

The NBA draft was held on Thursday June 23rd and our very own GEORGES NIANG was drafted bY the INDIANA PACERS with the 50th pick. Georges played 7 years with our program before finishing his AAU career with the National Champion BABC program. Georges was a product of the Methuen Youth Basketball program, the NEW ENGLAND STORM, Tilton School, and The BABC. Georges had a story book career at Iowa State earning All American honors, numerous BIG 12 awards as well as being named the winner of the Karl Malone award. Georges led the Cyclones to 4 NCAA appearances, 2 sweet 16 appearances, 2 BIG 12 Tourney Championships as well as leaving ISU as the winningist player in school history. Georges widely known as the greatest college player to ever come out of the Merrimack Valley now embarks on his next journey as a professional player in the worlds greatest league.
